My sister and I played store, buying and selling our home-made goods.
Little did we know, that we would both choose careers as professional stylists.

I graduated from Columbia Chicago with a degree in Photography and Advertising in 1989. I found that with my creative eye and a talent for creating characters and sets, that I could also contribute to the visions of others. It was invigorating to take an idea and help make it come to life. As my talents evolved, so did my career. I worked in the movies doing set decoration, greens and props. I landed on The Oprah Winfrey Show art directing, on music videos sewing original costumes, and on film and photo shoots, building funky props.

As a freelance creator for 21 years, I’ve worked in all forms and mediums.
With a natural flair for fabrics and dyes, I found myself designing a unique clothing line, Weeds Active Wear, which I also marketed and sold nationally.

The natural bends and turns of my career carried me to Portland Oregon, where commercials and print ads have become my forte; with a balance of styling – both props and wardrobe, art direction and street casting. I am blessed to live in such a wonderful city that is vibrant with talent and to do what I love.
